Why you shouldn’t spend money on software
Cutting your IT costs
I want to help you save Cash and I am never going to ask you for a dime in return.
Every year I save hundreds of euros by not spending any money on software. I needed a better deal and systems for my business, I was evaluating Sage Software which left me cold and inspired me to write this article. I am now confident that I can reliably do most of things I need to do in my business on using software that costs zero dollars. You wont find this taught at business school. It really annoys me that someone hasn’t shared the knowledge here with small business owners.
I just follow these three steps to get the free tools.
* Search for ten minutes max per day for each type of free tool.
* Get yourself a copy a free copy of Evernote to record what you find.
* Just spend about ten minutes every day trying out your findings.
In telling other business owners about my cost cutting I have found that it generally takes a month to find what you need and get up and running. OK, as promised here is a shortcut – my favorite tools are listed below, these are the ones I use everyday.
If you are about to purchase any of the basic software you need for your business, the chances are you have looked at the software I have listed on the right hand side of the page, on the left you will find their free equivalents.
