And the more affluent you became the more farmland you could control. This was simply not possible in the hunter gatherer culture.

Then in the industrial age, the division of labor slowly shifted back to the way it was before. Most jobs required substantial strength and energy, and were held, for the most part, by men. Only during major wars did women take on jobs that were traditionally male jobs.

Today, however, that is changing. Information is the currency of commerce today. And as more and more individuals are using the Internet to correspond, it is becoming a larger and larger cornerstone of normal business. So much so that people are amassing a considerable quantity of funds on the Internet, just like the farmers of the first rural societies. And on the Internet, anybody can get rich. Man, women, even kids are figuring out how to build money online.

One of the most excellent abilities to have today would be Internet selling skills.
