Good Value For The Cost – Computer Associates Antivirus Software Review
I think it was 2009 when Norton did a total redesign of their security software because previous versions had been complete resource hogs and slowed your system down. This has ceased to be a problem and the Norton Internet Security products for 2010 and both of which I have used, have been great.
I bought this product from Amazon because they had the best price. Norton renewals cost more than purchasing an entire “new” product.
For the second time the disc I received would not run in my computer. I searched the Norton site until I found a Computer chat with Norton. I previously had Trend Micro which I didn’t like as well. In addition, I didn’t like their business practices. Everything else was just fine. The basic interface is the same as last year’s version, and it adds a few things I like. I’ve tried several other security suites and the Norton’s ease of use, well known top-of-the-line security, and the great “Amazon” price and delivery gave me the best value for my dollar. When I next purchase I will upgrade to the Norton 360 or equivalent and have a total security and management system all in one.
It is that simple. The NIS has many valuable features.
The UI is impressively easy to use. It’s still very fast light on resources, with an extremely good protection. It has saved me from downloading software I thought was save because I knew so many people that used it, for example: certain person-to-person music downloading software. I would recommend this to anyone that spends a lot of time on the internet. The purpose of this review is to warn everyone not to leave your computer on when you leave it if you have activated the Norton LOGIN feature. This Norton product works as advertised.
This is probably the best security software I have ever used. Very easy to use and set up. At about $10 per computer (for 3 PCs), it’s a bargain. I always recommend using a second on-demand product (such as Malaware Bytes AntiMalware or Super AntiSpyware Remover) occasionally. Ultimately I just got fed up with the resource hogging McAfee, so I tried IS 2009. There was no comparison.
When you reach the required reboot, do so, and after the reboot you will have the option to now enter your new product ID number (found on your new disk), which will activate your version of Norton while retaining any remaining days you have existing left on your current subscription. drum sander parts.
