Cataclysm World of Warcraft: What to Expect?

Where do I start to narrate what this patch can do to your WoW gaming experience?

BlizzCon 2009 has finally unveiled the latest expansion of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.

The Lore: (quoted from the official tradition of World of Warcraft)

An ancient evil lies dormant within Deepholm, the domain of earth in the Elemental Plane. Hidden away in a secluded sanctuary, the corrupted Dragon Aspect Deathwing has waited, recovering from the wounds of his last battle against Azeroth and biding his time until he can reforge the world in molten fire.

Soon, Deathwing the Destroyer will return to Azeroth, and his eruption from Deepholm will sunder the world, leaving a festering wound across the continents. As the Horde and Alliance race to the epicenter of the cataclysm, the kingdoms of Azeroth will witness seismic shifts in power, the kindling of a war of the elements, and the emergence of unlikely heroes who will rise up to protect their scarred and broken world from utter devastation.

Two additional races: Goblin and Worgens

With the latest expansion of Cataclysm, players can now access two new playable races with their distinct attributes: the race Worgen from the Alliance Resource and Goblins from the Horde.

Level cap amplified to 85

Level 80, which was the highest level in WoW before is a thing of the past now. Level 85 is the new level for this extension, as players can adventure themselves into 5 breathtaking but still dangerous new maps to unlock new skills, abilities and talents. Venture into the depths of the water in Vashj’ir the sunken city, which rests in the Abyssal Maw Vortex. The more experienced players can go as far below the pieces of daylight immersed in the Elemental Plane of Earth, Deep Holm, before taking the risk of losing their lives with the mysteries locked away in Uldum explore.

New Race and Class Combo

WoW players would love the Catacylysm for introducing new combinations of existing character classes, Including Gnome Priests, Druids and Worgen Troll, and Tauren Paladins which many anticipated.

Blizzard has definitely increased the classification and standard when it comes to MMORPG by constantly updating World of Warcraft. With BlizzCon still under way, Blizzard will continue announcing future changes ahead and patch notes in the coming weeks or even days, making the players anticipate further.
