Best Item We’ve Used – Remove Antivirus 7 Software Review

I was told by my computer tech in my office to get this as the new computers we had set up earlier a few months before came with Trend Micro Anti-Virus and the software was interfering with the Tax Software we need to use in our Tax Preparation Co. I’ve had no trouble with this program. I was in disbelief at their arrogance and incompetence. They spent 6 hours making something terrible worse and then had the gall to tell me to see a technician, when everything ran fine before I loaded their software? It installed simply and easily. It has fully protected my PC for 3 months now and does it without draining resources from my PC, annoying pop up messages, or locking my PC.

I love it because it doesn’t slow down my computer and it runs in the background while you’re surfing online. I have used all kinds with MacAfee being the most popular.

I especially like the pop-up CPU monitor that tells you what app is consuming CPU usage. Only item to complain about is small, the PC Check Up program suggests PC sleep mode, but then scheduled scans won’t run when PC is asleep. This is why I prefer Macs; you don’t have all this aggravation. I like Norton especially since they improved it.

Under HELP is a button for Check for new version. After that, just follow the prompts. I find this Norton’s Internet Security not only thorough but it runs quickly and is very user friendly. Then I got the Norton and replaced the McAfee and what a difference.

If you upgrade using the disc, it will over-write your existing license period (doesn’t make sense, but that is the case here). However, after internet upgrade, you can enter the license code from the disc to extend the license for another year (just before your license period expires). This is the way to go, and I will recommend this product to others. We have been running Norton internet security for the last couple of years and the product works very well.

This is a bit crummy on their part. However either way it’s still cheaper than the other major for-pay antivirus product out there, which auto-bills you an egregious 79.00 each year for renewal on their product, which is inferior in my opinion. It’s very tiring buying software that basically exists to keep your operating system working the way it should do straight out of the box anyway. It is dead money. After having problems in the past with Norton slowing down my computer, this version came as a 60 day trial with my recently purchased computer. After having no issues at all during the trial period, I decided to once again go back to the Norton anti-virus.

This version of Norton is much better than previous versions of a few years ago. Run on an old Pentium 4 XP sp2 machine. I ran some free antivirus and firewall products on a few other computers at home, and Norton performed so much better in comparison. I can’t say enough good things.

I haven’t had a virus problem while using Norton. REPLACEMENT WINDOW RATINGS.
